Jennifer Aniston’s style is classic, comfortable and somewhat understated. Jennifer prefers to wear casual clothing that accentuates her natural beauty. Subtly sexy, this former “Friends” star has a good grasp on what you need to look good in Hollywood.
Dressing Up
One of Jennifer’s strongest qualities when it comes to fashion is dressing up for red carpet events like premieres, the Oscars, the Golden Globes and more. She generally chooses classic colors like black, brown and silver and very rarely takes huge risks when it comes to her choices. Jen is one of few celebrities who consistently look amazing on the red carpet. Most of the other stars have had (at one point or another) one of their outfits trashed by fashion critics. Aniston has remained consistent throughout the years, never upsetting fashion critics but never wowing them either. When it comes down to it, Jennifer prefers to place it safe on the style scene.
Dressing Down
Jen’s casual, classic wardrobe becomes even more casual when you look at her day-to-day choices. In previous years, Jen chose a wide range of denim designs, casual tank tops, flip-flops and very few accessories. This past year (since the divorce of her and ex-hubby Brad Pitt) her style has really picked up. Jen now chooses short shorts, button-up blouses, heels and a wider range of accessories. One thing has remained the same – she still loves black and incorporated black into almost every outfit.
What Makes Jen’s Style Unique?
The thing that sets Jennifer Aniston apart from most of the other female celebrities is her natural beauty. Jen looks better in a pair of jeans and a tank top than most celebrities in a designer skirt, halter and heels. She downplays her style because she wants to be classic, she wants her natural beauty to overpower her makeup, clothes and hair. This image works for Jennifer, it would not work for someone like Paris Hilton who is known for her outrageous style choices. Jen wants to make it in Hollywood because of her talent and not the way she looks. Regardless of her intentions, Jen looks amazing all the time.
Her Most Memorable Fashion Choice
Like most celebrities, Jen has had her fair share of designer gowns and authentic jewelry but her most memorable fashion moments are not necessarily those worth the most money. If you ask me, the outfit that sticks out in my mind is what she was wearing (or lack thereof) on the cover of GQ’s December 2005 issue. Brad has got to be regretting his decision by now!
