Paris Hilton is one of those girls who’s constantly talked about and constantly critiqued in the fashion industry for her unworldly choices. It’s very clear that some of Paris Hilton’s fashion choices are a pathetic attempt at publicity but over the years she has cleaned up her style – at least to some extent.
Young and Trashy
There’s no denying the fact that when Paris Hilton was first exposed to the public eye her image was downright trashy. She wore less out in public than most people wear to bed and she wasn’t afraid to cause a stir. She made herself look pathetic, trashy, distasteful, slutty and, most of all, young. You could tell that she was looking for attention. There’s no reason to wear tube tops, hot pants and 4 pounds of makeup to stroll down the streets of Hollywood – it’s just unnecessary. Her image was very immature and she had an attitude to match.
Growing up Naughty
As Paris continued to grow up, her image became even trashier. Not only was her clothing a disaster (she wore a super short mini and a bra out in public) but her attitude and personality were a turn-off as well. As she continued to live her life in the public eye, her antics become more and more unnoticeable. People were getting bored with Paris’ naughty-girl image and she began to fade away. Paris quickly realized this was happening and began a complete 180 when it came to her style.
A Revolutionary Style Change
It seemed as though in one day, Paris’ style had changed from super trashy to yet another attempt to gain the public’s attention. This time, she opted for a more glamorous look. Floor-length dresses and gowns and jeans with shirts that actually fit her became focal points in her wardrobe. This was a huge improvement from her previous image, unfortunately trashy images aren’t the easiest to get rid of. Paris is still known as a ditzy, somewhat trashy party-girl but she’s definitely on the upwards climb when it comes to her overall look.
Paris Hilton’s Most Memorable Fashion Choice
Paris Hilton has a lot of memorable fashion choices. Some of them good, some not so good. Even though there are a million horrible choices to choose from, I’ve decided to promote Paris’ new image and show one of her more recent, and more grown-up fashion choices. This white gown is the complete opposite of Paris’ usual slutty attire. She wore the white, floor-length gown to the Westwood premiere of her film “House of Wax.” When she cleans herself up and takes away the loads of makeup on her face, she’s actually kinda pretty – well maybe I wouldn’t go that far.
