Kate Moss, one of the world's hottest and most successful supermodels, has made one of the most amazing comebacks in the history of the modeling industry. Last year, after a British newspaper released photos of Kate sniffing significant amounts of cocaine, her career as a supermodel seemed inevitable. Kate was dropped by many labels and refused work by most of the industries leading contractors. Chanel refused to renew her contract, H&M temporarily pulled an ad campaign featuring Moss and Burberry removed her from their ads immediately. It seemed almost impossible for Kate to return to the modeling industry but she refused to give up. It's been one year since the incident and Kate is officially dominating the modeling industry, once again.
The new issue of British Vogue features a fresh looking Moss on the cover in addition to ads for almost 8 different labels within the issue. The beaustiful supermodel is featured in ads from top notch designers like Louis Vuitton, Versace and Burberry. A lot can happen in a year but it wasn't easy for Kate to rebuild her repuation as a professional supermodel. After checking herself into a drug rehabilitation centre and releasing a public apology for her behavior, Kate Moss slowly gained back the respect of the public.
So is it true, any publicity is better than no publicity? It seems to have worked for Kate Moss. Currently, Moss is making more money than she was before the cocaine incident! People are interested in the lives of celebrities and some can relate to Moss. Her comeback motivates individuals to overcome hard times in their lives and shows that you can't give up when things get bad.
The puclic has mixed reviews about the super-slim models return to the industry. While many applaud Kate for her persistence to succeed, others feel as though their are other models more deserving of the fame and fortune.
What's your opinion on this contraversial issue? Is Kate Moss worthy of her return to fame and fortune or will her image allow young females to think they can do whatever they want without facing any consequences? Was her behavior unforgivable or does she deserve a second chance in the modeling industry?
