Early Thursday morning, on her way home from a charity event and dinner with friends, Paris Hilton was pulled over and charged with DUI. That's right, the hotel heiress now has a DUI charge under her belt. But even the long arms of the law couldn't stop this party girl from looking hot in handcuffs. Dressed in a white sleeveless shirt, large red belt, red headband, dark pants and knee-high boots, Paris looked pretty good while being booked on these suspicions of DUI.

California laws state that any individual with more than 0.08 percent blood alcohol level is considered "under the influence." Paris claims she had only one margarita, that her blood alcohol level was 0.08 (the minimum level for charges) and that she was tired and hungry from working all day filming a new music video. 

Sister, Nikki Hilton and her boyfriend met Paris at the police station where Paris was released shortly after the arrest. She claims she regrets having had the drink and regrets what happened. She also admits to "speeding a little bit" and claims the police were trying to make a statement by charging her. "Everything I do is blown out of proportion and it really hurts my feelings," the hotel heiress said to Ryan Seacrest when she phoned the radio station later on that day. She called Seacrest to tell her side of the story and clear up any misconceptions people may have had about the situation. 

I guess Paris' title as the most overrated person in the world will definitely remain secure after this little fiasco!
