After months and months of waiting, the big night is finally here! The fourth season of One Tree Hill premieres tonight at 9 o'clock (eastern time) on the new CW. The last episode of the third season left us wondering the answers to a number of questions - does Nathan die, does Cooper die, who's pregnant and will Lucas and Brooke makeup? Tonight, we find out the answers to these questions and begin a whole new season of love, laughter, lies and deciet.

For those of you who have not watched the previous seasons of One Tree Hill (you're missing out huge), I'll give you a little update. The on-again/off-again romance between basketball star Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and head cheerleader Brooke (Sophia Bush) was in jeopardy when the finale ended because Brooke's best friend, Peyton revealed that she had feelings for Lucas. FYI - Lucas cheated on Brooke with Peyton in the first season. 

Then there's Nathan and Haley (otherwise known as Naley), who got married at the tender age of 17. Shortly after getting married, Haley decided to pursue her dreams as a music star and left Nathan to tour with Chris Keller (Tyler Hilton) and The Wreckers. The marriage was in jeopardy but eventually Haley came back and the two worked everything out.

Last season ended with Cooper and Rachel's limo crashing off a bridge into a river. Nathan jumps off the bridge to try and save his uncle (Cooper) but gets caught underneath the car. So we don't know who dies (if anyone). In addition, the cliffhanger episode also ended with each of the women acting as though they were pregnant. Haley with Nathan, Brooke with Lucas and Rachel with Cooper. Perhaps the most shocking of all was Karen openly admitting that she was pregant with Keith's child. For those of you who don't know, Keith died in a Columbine-like situation, although his death was actually a result of his brother, Dan (who is the villan on the show - as well as Lucas and Nathan's father) who decided to murder his brother and make it look like he was shot by the kids who held up the school.

Wow, it's a lot harder to explain than I originally thought. So if you can tell the story in a more easy to understand way, please feel free to reply to this post with your take on the show.
