Kate Moss has generated more controversy in the fashion industry over the past few years than most models are capable of in their entire careers. After her highly publicized cocaine addiction that was plastered all over British tabloids in September of last year it seemed difficult for the once-popular model to find work. That didn't last long. While some modeling agencies like Chanel and Burberry denied the blonde bombshell work after the incident it didn't take long for Moss to get back on her feet.

Now, just over a year later, Kate has made model history by being named Model of the Year at British fashion show last Thursday. As though Kate hasn't caused enough chaos in the industry, adding another prestigious award to her resume caused many to throw their arms up in dismay. A number of the industry's top designers, models and agents feel as though Moss is unworthy of any form of work, let alone winning another award.
While some praise the British model for getting back on her feet, others refuse to forget what she has done. Many feel as though promoting her image will encourage young females to experiment with drugs while others feel as though she deserves respect for falling and getting back up. Regardless of who's in her corner, Kate Moss is officially more popular than she was pre her cocaine addiction.
I guess the saying is true - what doesn't kill us can only make us stronger.
