The American Music Awards aired last night on CBC and featured a lot of very hot, very sexy celebrities. While some awards shows have neverending lists of worst dressed celebs, the music awards this year brought a variety of A-listers who looked drop dead gorgeous in evening gowns, tuxedos and party dresses. #1. Carrie Underwood

The American Idol winner looked absolutley gorgeous in this lace, strapless gown. The gown fits her figure perfectly and shows off Carrie's feminine, sexy side. Underwood performed a montage of her 3 recent hits "Jesus take the Wheel," "Don't Forget to Remember Me" and "Think Before he Cheats."

#2. Britney Spears

The most we've seen of Britney Spears in the past few years is her post-baby body, usually with a child attached to the side of it. Well not last night. Last night, the former teen popstar looked grown up, glam and back to her old self as she presented in a cleavage-baring cream dress. Britney, who just split from husband K-Fed, looked happy and healthy at last night's show.

#3. Ashlee Simpson

Ashlee Simpson's new look seems to be working well for her. She looked fabulous at last nights awards show while presenting an award beside Jesse McCartney. Her long blonde locks and strapless gray gown made Ashlee look simply gorgeous on the stage last night.

#4. Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx was the best dressed male celeb from this year's show. Foxx looked hot in an off-white suit and white shirt with gold accents. Jamie not only performed at the show but also took away his first AMA for favorite male in the the soul/rythmn and blues category.

#5. Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie introduced (her father) Lionel Richie's, performance last night. Nicole looked healthy and glowing in a shimmery knee-length, strapless gown. She sported darker locks and sultry makeup which completed her gorgeous look.
