Jessica Simpson is making her third attempt at success on the big screen. During the past few years Jessica has tried her talents as an actress in the movies "Dukes of Hazard" and "Employee of the month" both which bombed at the box office. Jess' acting skills have been criticized, insulted and torn apart by the public and the media but that clearly hasn't stopped the singer from trying yet again.

Jessica Simpson has officially accepted the leading role as Tess McGill in the new movie "Blonde Ambition," a clever remake of the 1980's film "Working Girl." Simpson is filling the shoes of Melanie Griffith, the original actress who played the role in 1988 and earned an Oscar nomination for her efforts.
"Blonde Ambition" is a movie about a secretary who desperately wants to get ahead in the corporate world. With a great deal of difficulty and many mishaps along the way, it's easy to see this movie becoming a huge success. But will Jessica Simpson be able to make her move into the acting world with this role? Guess we'll just have to wait and see if Jessica has more talent than people are actually giving her credit for.
