The much anticipated release of "The Holiday" finally arrived on Friday. The film, which is expected to be this year's best holiday flick, was a definite success at the box office. A cast of hot Hollywood stars like Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black provided 2 and a half hours of romance, comedy and entertainment.

The movie, which made 13.5 million dollars this weekend, debuted at number 2 on the box office list, falling just short of "Apocalypto" which brought in over 14 million dollars.

I'd give the movie 3.5 stars. The storyline was great and the cast was unbelievable (Cameron was hilarious, as always) but 2 and a half hours for a chick flick can be somewhat long and exhausting.
