Nicole Richie's DUI

It seems as though DUIs may be a prerequisite for getting into Hollywood's socialite circle these days. Paris Hilton was arrested with drinking under the influence just a couple of months ago and Nicole Richie is next to top the list. Nicole was arrested early this morning by a California Highway Patrol Officer while driving her black mercedes SUV in Burbank, a city just outside of Los Angeles.

Reports say authorities were contacted about a drunk driver who seemed to be going the wrong way on the freeway. The description authorities were given matched Richie's car perfectly. "The Simple Life" star was booked and tested for drugs before being let go this morning. Nicole's publicist has yet to comment on the allegations.

Nicole is just one in a long list of celebrities choosing to drink and drive. In addition to Paris Hilton there have been many other celebrities accused of being drunk behind the wheel. Mel Gibson, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Michelle Rodriguez and even Vince Vaughn have been in the news lately for drinking and driving related incidences.

How many times has Nicole driven stoned and drunk? On the freeway. She finally just got caught because she was driving on the wrong side of the freeway. Lucky she didn't kill anyone.
They should of put her bail at $50,000 if they could've.
She and others like her freak me out, they're so irresponsible.

My friends all like to drink wine, whatever. We have
designated drivers. If we have a dinner party, anyone who has had too many, they get their keys taken away, a taxi called, or sleep over.

The crazy liquor and drug-ridden NYers that come to the Hamptons where I live try and rent limos now so they won't kill anyone except themselves. If ya can't get a iimo here, get a driver or a taxi. Sick of these people
