One of the biggest controversies in Miss USA pageant history is now in the hands of Donald Trump. We've been following the story for days now and as the verdict comes to a close, anticipation grows as to whether or not the Kentucky born queen, Tara Conner, can keep her title.
Trump plans to hold a press conference today at which time the publicly announce whether or not Conner will be dethrowned. The beauty queen has violated a number of responsibilites which are her duty to uphold.
The title of Miss USA is accompanied by a number of responsibilities, many of which the public is unaware of. Some of these responsibilities include:
- Clothing: Modest and Good Taste
- No Drinking in Public
- No Smoking in Public Will She Keep Her Title? Vote Now!
- No Illegal Drug Use
- No Cussing in Public
- Sex Must be kept Private
After all, a huge responsibily of the crown holder is to be a good role model for young children. Tara has violated a number of these responsibilities and Trump is not impressed.
Should Tara lose her crown, Miss California will take her place. This will not be the first time a pageant winner has been dethrowned. In 2002, Miss Russia won the Miss Universe pageant but was fired after missing a number of charity events and photo shoots. "We had a Miss Universe from Russia that was a total disaster" says Trump, "and we fired her."
Who's to say Trump won't fire Tara too. We have been covering the story for a couple days now and will have all the details regarding the press conference and whether or not Tara will keep her crown as soon as the news is released.
