Rosie O'Donnell vs. Donald Trump - A Poor Attempt at Promoting "The View"?

It seems as though the consensus lies in the fact that it was Rosie O'Donnell's poor attempt at promoting "The View" as opposed to Trump's poor attempt to promote "The Apprentice". I can definitely see where the comments and speculations are coming from, after all, it was Rosie who started the whole war of words after Donald's decision to keep Miss USA.

Although it seems timely that The Donald chose to fight back so aggressively after Rosie's harsh words on "The View" (some of her comments included "Donald, sit on it and spin, my friend")  it was in fact the talk show host who started the argument in the first place. However, Donald has definitely taken advantage of the situation and has been much more vocal about the scandal than most people would have been.

Rosie has been in the spotlight quite a bit lately. Possibly one of the most outspoken celebrities in Hollywood, Rosie has recently spoken her mind about Kelly Ripa's battle with Clay Aitken as well. And while Rosie receives a lot of negative attention, "The View's" ratings have went through the roof.

Who's side are you on?

Do you think Rosie's actions will positively or negatively impact the view?

I believe that Rosie was in fact completely accurate, Trump is a cartoonish boor, Who actually believes his own publicity,  Please !!!!!, a press conference over some Bimbo who cannot say no to a drink,  Who!!  has the audacity to take up air space on this trivial nonsense, Only this self promoting over the hill, has-been, would even dream this foolishness up.

In Mr. Trump's mind, there is no such thing as negative publicity.  It isn't the first time someone has publicly lambasted him, but it's the first time I recall such a fervent response to the public lashing.  Rosie made comments that were unsolicited, but that's talk television.  Now she has engendered the very thing Mr. Trump likes best, publicity.  If she thinks she can win this battle against Donald Trump, she doesn't know the man.  Additionally, her outspoken ways can initially be charming, but ultimately the American Public will grow tired of her and she will slip into anonymity.  Donald Trump has been playing this game much longer than Rosie, and he's better at it.  She needs to suck it up and make an effort (however superficial) to mend fences with the Donald.  What Mr. Trump realizes is that the American Public (fickle as it is) is predominantly conservative.  Rosie doesn't get that and that's why she will fail.

I think Rosie had every right to say what she did, although the Donald was way below the belt with his comments.

I will not be watching The Apprentice any more!

Yep -- Rosie is certainly outspoken...but I can't help but admire her for that.  I think she interpreted the Kelly and Clay "incident" wrong, but she usually has the guts to say exactly what everyone else is thinking.

Rosie is absolutely correct to question that Donald Trump is the moral compass for anyone...especially a young beauty pagent winner!  That televised broadcast of him "excusing" Miss USA nearly made me sick!  In all likelihood it's Donald and not Rosie who has a "special interest" in Miss USA.  Perhaps he even gave Miss USA a "deserved second chance" because he didn't want her to blow the whistle on him?

Donald Trump has always bugged with his elitist, superior attitude.  Let's face it, without the money, he certainly wouldn't have landed the three gorgeous women he's been married to.  He's a lecherous old man with money, who will likely end up married to Anna Nicole Smith at some point and, class-wise, they would certainly be a perfect pair.

Money doesn't buy class, Donald!  In fact, I know a lot of people who have no money, yet a lot more class and humility than you!

WAY TO GO, ROSIE, for saying it like it is!!!

I had high regard of Donald Trump until he acted a fool and low on himself.  As a fan of Apprentice and Miss USA, very disappointed by The Donald's low style mouth.  Can this man hire a PR to help his unmanly mouth? Little did I know he has an unclassy mouth? I had blamed Martha Stewart by taking The Donald's words, but no no more.  I need his shows to be boycotted by fat women, *** women, ugly women, and opinionated women.

I googled Trump and there are quite a few articles on him filing for bankruptcy.  I think Rosie touched on a very raw nerve. Everything she said was accurate. I think he's making a fool of himself.
