Did Paris Hilton Wear a Fake Louis Vuitton Bikini?

Paris Hilton was greeted by swarms of eager fans and media sources when she arrived in Sydney Australia earlier in the week to choose the face of Bondi Beer. The hotel heiress reportedly took home 6 huge suitcases full of clothing as well as a number of other smaller ones. While the 25 year old socialite was paid $500,000 for her short-lived appearance in Sydney, she left fashionistas in a frenzy when reports of wearing a fake Louis Vuitton bikini began to surface.

While many fashion friendly Aussies began talking about Paris on the forum of Vogue.com.au, opinions began to generate that the super rich blonde had sported a fake Vuitton.  One member of the forum writes "I collect Louis Vuitton, I know my brand. That bikini is fake".

While other members agreed with the Louis Vuitton supporter, Louis Vuitton were quick to clean up the rumors. A rep from the company told "The Daily Telegraph" that stocks of the pink version had sold out in Australia. The rep goes on to say that "being who she is there's little chance this isn't an original".

Without genuine confirmation on the particular bikini in question from the LVMH group I am still assuming it's a fake. Just look at it. The unnamed rep from LV referred to the pink version and made an assumption about the white bikini in question (there is another version of the white bikini, more sporty that Paris does own and wear). With so many girls imititating her style the Voguettes do not want girls to think purchasing a fake is "hot". Indeed it is illegal. On another note aspirational consumerism is rife and do we need to encourage it further and place more pressure on finances by craving the logoed ensembles worn by celebrities which are obviously fake but are touted as the "must have".
This woman places enough pressure on young women to be super thin, bleached blonde, tanned and intellectually challenged. Should monetary pressure be added? I hope not.

I knew it!!! I've been seeing this photo random places and every time I see it I'm just like... "for some reason I don't think that's real... Louis Vuitton would not make that."

So I just Google'd "Louis Vuitton bikini" and this came up.

Goodness I'm awesome.
