Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey have officially moved on since their split about a year and a half ago. While Nick has been in a long-term relationship with Vanessa Minnillo for about 7 months now, Jess has just recently cozied up to singer John Mayer. Jessica and John were seen together in taking a tour in Jacksonville, the next destination for Mayer to perform. Meanwhile, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo remain tight, doing normal couple-like things such as grocery shopping and having lunch.
Jessica was finding it difficult to settle down with anyone since the split but in December, when rumors began to circulate that Nick was going to propose to Vanessa, Jessica finally decided to move on. And that she did. Ever since the beginning of 2007, Jessica and John have been practically inseparable. While the two embark on what could be a long-term relationship, Nick and Vanessa grow only closer. Nick surprised Vanessa by showing up on New Year's Eve where she was working for MTV. Nick brought Vanessa to tears when he whispered in her ear "you didn't think I would let you start 2007 without me, did you?" It's only a matter of time before these two lovebirds make their relationship official (wedding bells are ringing already).
Now that Jessica and Nick have moved on, I can't help but ask the question - who's the hotter couple, Jessica Simpson and John Mayer or Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo? My vote goes to Nick and Vanessa.
