Nicole Kidman faced minor injuries today after being slammed into a light pole in an accidental on-set car crash. The 39 year old Aussie wasn’t expecting such a hard hit when the stunt driver of the car lost control for a mere moment and went smashing into a pole. Kidman, along with about 7 crew members, were taken to the hospital, treated for minor injuries and released about 2 hours later. Nonetheless, Nicole remained shaken up about the whole incident when she returned back on set later on in the day.

The Jaguar that Kidman was riding in at the time of the crash was damaged and glass was thrown from the scene. As seen in the footage below, Kidman managed to escape any serious injuries as she walked away from the scene looking a little shook up.

According to US Weekly, the Oscar winner’s husband, Keith Urban (who spent time in rehab last year) was on set when the crash happened. In addition, Kidman’s 11 year old son, Connor Cruise (son of Tom Cruise) was also on set when the incidence occurred. We are happy to report that everyone involved in the crash was sent home from the hospital later that day with no serious injuries.
