Over the years, the red carpet has slowly began to take over the event and more and more people are watching the show for the clothing and less for the awards.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole looked sleek and elegant in this tight-fitting, floor-length white Balenciaga gown. Kidman wowed the crowd when she hit the red carpet in this figure flattering embroidered gown. Can Kidman top last year’s gown this year?

Keira Knightley

Keira Knightley was a somewhat unexpected winner on last year’s red carpet. Her memorable burgundy gown by Vera Wang was a nice switch from her usual jeans and t-shirts. The single-strap, floor-length ruched gown was the ultimate dress on the red carpet. Well done Keira!
