While the 49th Annual Grammy Awards brought some of the most phenomenally dressed stars onto the red carpet, there were a few who killed the buzz. You can always count on someone to ruin the night for everyone. This year, Nelly Furtado, Ok Go and Brooke Hogan were just a few of the flops on the red carpet. These men and women looked like they were either asking for negative attention or they just don’t have the slightest bit of style to begin with. Either way, here are our top picks for worst dressed of the night:

Ok Go

It was very clear that Ok Go were looking for attention on this year’s red carpet. Trying to steal the spotlight may have worked for them but not in a good way. These guys were ridiculed by every announcer on the red carpet – and we couldn’t agree more. When asked about their outfits, they replied by saying they were trying to dress like themselves, only from the future.

Imogen Heap

Imogen Heap was by far the worst dressed person on the red carpet. The new artist made a horrible debut at last night’s show in a black and white flowered dress with umbrella and knee-high boots. She ‘dug’ herself an even deeper hole by planting a flower pot in her hair. She can’t be serious with this look, can she?

Brooke Hogan

Brooke Hogan has never been known for her great sense of style. Her floor length, lime green gown (which she designer herself but had someone else make) wasn’t even the worst part of her outfit. The dress in itself wasn’t so bad – it was the horrible makeup and hair that made her look like a transvestite.

Nelly Furtado

Nelly Furtado was a huge disappointment on this year’s red carpet. Her new look (with the long wavy hair and incredible post-baby figure) were unapparent at last night’s event. Her hair looked like it hadn’t been brushed and her outfit looked like it had been put through a paper shredder. Not a good look for you, Nelly.

Mandy Moore

Mandy Moore was also a disappointment at last night’s show. After seeing her new movie “Because I Said So” I thought Mandy would look amazing with her long, layered hair and curvy figure. Boy was I wrong. Mandy looked like a 50 year old hippie with a poor sense of style. The dress is bad enough but what is with the polka dot belt? Let’s hope she has a new look when she releases her new album she’s been working on.

Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff looked like she accidentally stepped onto the red carpet in her lingerie – bed head and all. Her new, dark hair (much like Nelly Furtado’s only slightly longer) looked like it hadn’t been brushed in months and her dress was skimpy and unflattering for her petite figure.
