It appears that Britney Spears couldn't make it 24 hours in rehab. The pop star has reportedly left the Promises treatment center in Malibu.

This latest development in Britney's life follows close on the heels of her first 24 stay in rehab last week and her new bald makeover.

While her manager confirmed on Tuesday that the singer voluntarily checked herself into the Malibu treatment center, he also urged the media to "respect her privacy."

Despite his plea, paparazzi had photos of the newly bald Ms Spears, taking a smoking break at the facility, up and running on the internet within hours.

According to E! Online, Britney was angered by the photographs, and that they directly contributed to her abrupt departure from rehab.

And where are Britney's children in all of this? Reportedly, Sean Preston, 17 months, and Jayden James, five months, are in good hands.
