Kevin Federline has called an emergency court hearing today to discuss the custody of his two sons with his estranged wife Britney Spears.

Federline and his lawyer are scheduled to appear at a Los Angeles courthouse later today for the hearing in family law court.

Currently, Brit Brit and K-Fed have joint custody of  five-month-old Jayden James, and 17-month-old Sean Preston until the end of this month. 

It's not clear what Federline plans to bring up during the hearing, but it he is insisting that the custody battle be fast tracked.

It is not anticipated that Britney, who has checked herself in and out of rehab twice in one week, will show up for the hearing.
