Britney Spears may have influential backup that will help her climb her way back to the top of the music charts. Britney's ex-boyfriend and good friend Justin Timberlake has agreed to help the 25 year old pop star make her comeback by working with her on a new single. Timberlake was approached by music rapper Timbaland, who is desperate to help Britney get back to her old self again.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Timbaland announced that he would work with Britney in order to help her through this hard time. "I feel her pain, it really bothers me. I'm the type of person who tries to save the world", says Timbaland. "I just want to take her away, go overseas, and work (it) out", he finishes. To ensure her comeback success even further, Timbaland has locked Justin Timberlake into working with Spears as well. Justin's only requirement is that Britney is dedicated to her music. "She's just gotta be serious", says Timberlake.

Spears is currently seeking treatment at Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, California. While many reports claim that the former music sensation is getting treatment for substance abuse, some sources are stating that Britney thinks it's postpartum depression. Either way, a month or so of rehab and a hit single with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland could potentially sky rocket Brit back to the top of the charts. Hopefully she'll be smart enough to take the offer.
