Lindsay Lohan has joined a long list of young Hollywood celebrities struggling to deal with the stress of fame in the entertainment industry. It’s a well-known fact that Lindsay Lohan (who isn’t even legal drinking age in the United States) has a substance abuse problem and is seeking treatment in rehab. In addition, the young starlet is finding it extremely hard to keep her movie roles and is making a name for herself as a ‘diva’ in the industry.

Perhaps some of the cause is the lack of a father figure for the past two years as Lohan’s dad has been in prison for driving under the influence and causing a serious car accident. Lindsay has had to deal with a number of problems without the help of her father. This has clearly had an effect on Lohan as we seen in her music video “Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)”.

Well, after serving his two years in prison, Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan, is being released today at 9 o’clock am. Sources say that Michael’s mother will be holding a welcome home party at her Long Island estate. It is unknown whether or not Lindsay will be attending the party. From what Lindsay has said over the past few years it is very apparent that Michael has many bridges to mend before he will gain the trust of Lindsay, her younger sister Aliana or her younger brother Dakota. The kids have been without contact with their father for over 2 years, it doesn’t seem like an easy transition back into their lives.
