Keanu Reeves was questioned by police after hitting a member of the paparazzi with his car after leaving a Californian clinic yesterday. According to the victim, Alison Silva, the hit was an intentional act on the part of the 42 year old actor. "The car hit me straight in the knees, straight in the knees, I was in shock, a lot of pain", says Silva. "I have never had anybody going after me like this - like he wanted to kill me", he finishes.

But according to police, Reeves has a different take on the incident. A police spokesman claims "Mr Reeves said he was trying to pull away from the curb. As he pulled away the photographer called out, 'Ah, my knee' and Mr Reeves pulled over." Keanu, who has appeared in hit movies like "Constantine" and "The Matrix Reloaded", was questioned by police before being released.

Police will decide whether or not charges will be laid within the next week.
