Britney Spears was released from rehab earlier his week and was less than impressed with the stories she heard surrounding her stay in rehab. Brit has undergone a significant amount of scrutiny over the past few months which have had a huge impact on the pop stars image.

While her head-shaving incident, the paparazzi assault with an umbrella and numerous drunkin' nights are unfightable since there are photos and footage of the incidences, there are many stories leaked by the British Press that have no proof whatsoever. As a result, Britney has ordered an emergency injunction banning the British press from revealing any more reports of Britney's odd behavior.

While trying to fight any of the incidences listed above is a lost cause for the former pop star, stories that were unveiled while she was in rehab are definitely worth fighting. Why, you ask? Because no photos or video footage supporting any of the stories leaked while Britney was in rehab were ever exposed. Therefore, there is no proof surrounding these stories which means there is a large possibility they are false. Some of the stories that got Brit all hot and bothered include her bush romp with another rehab member, her relationship with Jason Filyaw, her "I am the Antichrist' incident and the infamous suicide attempt.

But why the British Press? Why not the American Press as well? Well many sources believe that Britney chose to make an example of the British Press because they were the first to leak these stories. Others believe that Spears is taking action against the British press because it's easier to sue in the UK than in the US.

According to media solicitors Schillings, "An emergency injunction was obtained in London's High Court … on behalf of Britney Spears to restrain the person or persons, known as 'John Doe', who has/have been leaking information about Ms Spears' time in a rehabilitation clinic from further disclosures invading her privacy".  

The British press is no longer allowed to print stories that will compromise the privacy of Britney. Fortunately for us, she has not taken legal action against the American press - for now at least.
