Howard K. Stern has filed an appeal in the paternity ruling concerning Anna Nicole Smith's baby girl, Dannielynn.

Last week, Stern was ordered by a Bahamian judge to bring the baby in for DNA testing to determine once and for all, who Dannielynn's father really is.

Stern, whose name appears on the baby's birth certificate, drove the baby in for testing himself - the actual results of which will remain confidential until April 3rd.

Larry Birkhead, Smith's former boyfriend, was also reportedly swabbed for a DNA sample. Birkhead claims that he is Dannielynn's father and is embroiled in a battle with Anna's mother Virgie Arthur over who will raise the child.

Birkhead had this to say about the situation: "No one will take my child and raise it except me," he said, "That is final. She is my baby girl and I will raise her."

Hopefully, the results of the test are conclusive and this matter is settled quickly for the child's sake.
