Any thoughts that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline may reconcile now that she's been released from rehab have quickly been eliminated since their divorce was settled on Thursday. The meeting was said to have taken 5 hours in Brit's attorney's office before the former pair came to an agreement on the terms of the divorce. A judge is required to approve the terms of the agreement before the divorce is considered finalized.
Britney filed for divorce last November amidst rumors of Kevin cheating and a complete lack of respect for the pop star. According to sources, Kevin is rumoured to be a million dollars richer since the settlement. While Brit settles on a one million dollar deal with Kevin, the pair agrees that despite Brit's recent struggles she will share custody of their two children with Federline. Some sources are also reporting that Britney has primary custody of the two young boys but no statement has been released supporting this assumption.
During the 5 hour meeting, Kevin took a smoke break outside where Britney joined him. The two spoke for 15 minutes which may have helped settle the agreement in a quicker and more efficient manner.
Britney and Kevin tied the knot in September of 2004. The pair have two children together.
