Is it possible that Anna Nicole Smith can now rest in peace since her daughter Dannielynn is finally with her rightful father? Probably not. In fact, despite Larry Birkhead's words at yesterday's court hearing, it's hard to believe that Anna Nicole would be happy that Larry fought for the rights to his child. When Larry Birkhead announced to the world that he was the father of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannielynn, a reporter asked Birkhead what he thought Anna would think of him taking the little girl. Larry responded by saying that he thought she would be happy that he fought for her.
But anyone who has followed the Anna Nicole case before her death knows that Anna wanted Howard K. Stern to remain the father no matter what. She was fighting Birkhead and didn't want him to know he was the father of the baby. It's possible that Anna Nicole didn't even know that Larry was definitely the father which could have impacted a number of lives if she were still alive. But Dannielynn is now with a father who cares about her and who will do the best for her no matter what. The air is clear between Birkhead and Stern now and Howard K. Stern claimed he would not be fighting Birkhead for custody.
It seems as though this chapter of the Anna Nicole Smith saga has come to an end. Is it the final chapter? Hopefully. Things need to settle down so the one person Anna Nicole still cared about (her daughter) can have a fighting chance at a good life where she knew her mother for who she really was - not for a women who accidentally overdosed and killed herself at a young age. It's an unfortunate situation that still has the potential to have a somewhat happy ending.
