Britney Spears has expressed interest in working with Sanjaya Malakar, the latest cast-off of American Idol. If Brit has her way, two of the most unlikely performers in the entertainment industry may actually team up and record a duet. Although Britney's intentions are selfish (she wants to work with him to make a huge comeback), the opportunities for Sanjaya seem to be much more significant. What are the odds that Sanjaya Malakar, the goofy kid from Federal Way, Washington, would have the opportunity to work with a music icon like Britney Spears?   

According to sources from the National Ledger "Britney wants to cash in on some of the Sanjaya mania because he is getting so much attention right now she feels that if the two of them record a record together it will help get her back on the charts". The same source claims that Britney has already requested that her agents contact Sanjaya to see about his thoughts on the collaboration.
