Britney Spears' decision to do a half-naked photo shoot in the back of a friend's yard has landed the former pop princess at the top of new headlines once again. Brit, who recently completed rehabilitation treatment, wasted no time before entering back into the spotlight. The 25 year old mother of two was photographed topless outside a friend's house with only flowers covering her nipples. The formerly blonde bombshell was also wearing a hat and shorts and smiling big for the cameras, according to US Weekly.

But why would Britney decide to do such a provocative shoot so soon after being scrutinized for endless other situations? My initial guess would be for the attention. She recently performed for a small audience in San Diego but she's probably looking to target a bigger audience. Doing a topless photo shoot is a great way to target a bigger audience but probably won't result in the positive attention she's looking for. One of the things that made Britney such a hit when she first entered the scene was her personality and her ability to relate to a younger audience. I don't know about you but if my kids wanted to be like her, I wouldn't be impressed right now. Brit just needs to be more careful when making decisions.
