Jaslene, the bubbly brunette from Chicago Illinois was crowned America's Next Top Model in the finale of cycle 8 of the hit TV show. World renowned supermodel and talk show host Tyra Banks, who judges the girls every week, made the final decision to name Jaslene the winner last night. But it wasn't an easy road for the 20 year old. In fact, Jaslene had tried out for the show in previous seasons and had not made it into the final round. But Jaslene's persistency and dedication paid off in the end. She will now be receiving a $100,000 contract with Cover Girl, among many other perks.

Last night's finale showed 20 year old, stay at home mom, Rene being eliminate from the top 3 as well. The judges felt as though Rene looked to old and decided not to move her to the final two. Jaslene's competition in the final round was Natasha, the 21 year old sweetheart from Dallas Texas. Natasha was tough competition for Jaslene but didn't end up having what it takes to gain the title of America's Next Top Model.
