Paris Hilton's Jail Sentence Shortened

Well it seems that Ms Hilton is set to only serve 23 days of her 45 day jail sentence according to authorities. The hotel heiress will also be kept separate from the general inmate population.

Paris will serve her time in a "special needs housing unit" in the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood. This unit is a special cell block that is used for public officials, celebrities, and high-profile prisoners, says Steve Whitmore, the Los Angeles County sheriff's representative.

The reality T.V star was originally sentenced to 45 days in jail earlier this month after she violated her probation and driving without a valid driver's license. Her sentence is due to start by June 5.

My prediction is, as each day passes, her sentence will be reduced.  So -- divide the 23 days remaining today by 500, equating to about 1 hour and 10 minutes behind her cush "bars"...never over night.  The delicate princess would certainly feel the pea under her jail-cell mattress, and we can't have Hollywood royalty feeling uncomfortable.

As the day of her incarceration grows closer, Mz Hilton will whip out her gold edition Monopoly board, turn in a few hotels, and obtain a "Get Out of Jail Free" card.  I agree, it'll never happen. This is all just more publicity buzz for the callous and clueless socialite.
