Paris Hilton is so distraught in jail that she initiated a call to Barbara Walters to talk about her prison sentence and the effect it has already had on her life. Barbara, who has landed some of the most famous interviews in the entertainment business, talked to Paris about her state of mind and exactly how she's changed since she entered the Lynwood Century Regional Detention Facility.

Yesterday's edition of 'The View' unveiled exclusive details of Paris' stay in jail and some very interesting statements from the heiress herself. Perhaps one of the most surprising statements was when Paris told Barbara that being dumb was an act to get attention. "I feel as if I'm a different person. I used to act dumb. That act is no longer cute. Now, I would like to make a difference. God has given me this new chance", says Paris who has been behind bars for a total of 3 days. She goes on to say that she has found God and that God has released her. The 25 year old states that she would like to use her celebrity power to raise awareness and money for specific charities like breast cancer awareness or the multiple sclerosis foundations.
And while the sentence Paris is serving has been changed so many times, Barbara confirms that Paris will be serving out what's left of her 23 days sentence. She is expected to be released on June 25th.
