Whether you like country music or you're a cowboys fan, the country theme is destiny for American Idol winner Carrie Underwood and her beau, Dallas Cowboy's quarterback, Tony Romo. When asked if there was a romantic spark between them, they each replied with the generic "we're just good friends" statement but recent sightings are indication that the relationship is back on.

Carrie (24) and Tony (27) have been in an on-again/off-again relationship since December, when Carrie attended one of Tony's football games. According to the country singer, it was Tony who initiated interest in the first place but she who made the first move. "I heard he was interested in me, so I sent him a text message" says Carrie. And while many people were hesitant to believe that there was a genuine spark between the two, their actions spoke for themselves at the Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. It was there that Tony Romo held Carrie's purse while she went to accept an award - an action he would soon regret. Once his teammates heard about the purse-holding incident, Romo was made fun of for a while. But when Tony was asked about his relationship with Carrie, he had a few words of his own:
"I was just supporting Carrie," Romo said. "We are good friends. We get to see each other go through different things in life. It was neat to go there and listen to some good music and get away for the night." And when asked about how holding a woman's purse could turn into such a big story, Tony simply replied with "You have to help out when you can." Simple as that.
