As most of you already know, Paris Hilton has officially completed her 23 day jail sentence at the Lynnwood Century Regional Detention Center and is, once again, a free woman. Now that the initial news of her release has began to settle down, everyone is wondering whether or not Paris really is a changed person or whether that too was just an act. While she was behind bars, she had an exclusive phone interview with Barbara Walters (who later refused to interview her upon release), where she admitted that being dumb was an act and said that she had learned her lesson and was a changed person.
While confined to a small cell in prison, Paris also mentioned that she wanted to get more involved in charity. She also said that wanted to open up a house for ex-jailbirds to live in upon release. The 25 year old socialite has made many comments about changing her ways but will she actually do everything she talks about.
When Paris walked out the door this morning at 12:15 am, she was smiling from ear to ear. This is quite a big change from the tearful, bitter woman who entered the facility just over 3 weeks ago. Paris is scheduled to do an interview on Larry King Live tomorrow night (Wednesday June 26th) where she will talk openly about her stay in jail and her plans for the future.
Could Paris Hilton have grown up that much in just 23 days? If so, jail is the best thing that has ever happened to Ms. Hilton.
