Lindsay Lohan made headlines on Memorial Day weekend when she crashed her 2005 Mercedes convertible into a cab on Sunset Boulevard. When the accident occurred, Lohan was cited and released because she had to be admitted to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Now, about a month later, the truth about the accident is being revealed and it doesn't look good for the "Freaky Friday" star.
According to law enforcement sources the toxicology reports speak for themselves. The reports conclude that Lohan had ""nearly twice the legal limit" of alcohol and traces of coke in her bloodstream at the time of the accident. Police offers told TMZ.com that they found a "usable amount" of cocaine in Lindsay's car as well.

Lindsay is currently getting treatment at the Promises Rehabilitation facility (the same facility Britney Spears stayed in) and has recently decided to continue the program longer than she had originally planned. Her mother (and manager) Dina Lohan released a statement claiming "She's going to be doing extended care. It was her choice".
Lindsay has been quoted saying that she doesn't drink when she goes out. In December of last year, when asked about attending AA, Lindsay claimed she attended simply as a balancing act in her life. She insisted she didn't have a drinking problem - but drinking, doing drugs and driving seem like they add up to a problem to me. At least Lindsay is trying to get help. The longer she stays in rehab, the better. There's no word yet on when Lindsay will be leaving the Promises Treatment Center and returning back to her LA life.
