Victoria Beckham, Melanie B, Emma Bunton, Melanie C and Geri Halliwell are officially reuniting for the much anticipated reunion of the girl band that rocked the world - THE SPICE GIRLS. The girls have confirmed that the rumors are true and they are very excited to be touring the world, performing old songs as well as their new solos. Why are the girls getting back together you ask? "Because it's been way too long" says Melanie B (a.k.a Scary Spice).

The girls will be performing in LA, Las Vegas, New York, Beunos Aires, London, Koln, Madrid, Beijing, Hong Kong, Sidney and Cape Town. The girls refer to this tour as "unique experience - it's a celebration". "It might be the one and only time you get to see us" says Geri who is noticeably excited in their new promo video on AOL. According to Melanie B, the talks of a reunion were 'kicked up a notch' after Melanie B had her baby.
The Spice Girls split up in February of 2001 and have not been seen performing together since. After breaking up, most of the girls went off to do solo projects - some being more successful than others. Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) married soccer superstar David Beckham and is currently filming her own reality TV show, Melanie B recently had a baby, Geri had a few hit singles as a solo artist (as did Melanie C) and we haven't really heard a lot from Emma. But all that is put aside now that the girls have decided to reunite on a global tour.
