Can someone please explain to me how 'best friends forever', Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag could let an obnoxious guy like Spencer Pratt come between them?
Heidi and Lauren (also known as LC) were practically inseparable on the first season of "The Hills". They did everything together and were always there for each other, regardless of the circumstances.
But all of a sudden, Heidi, the ditzy party girl (who is clearly famous because of Lauren's TV show) dropped Lauren like a sack of potatoes because she met Spencer Pratt (her current fiance).
Spencer is an annoying and spoiled rich boy who treated Heidi like dirt for the first few months of their relationship. Lauren, being the good friend that she was, tried to protect Heidi from getting hurt but Heidi refused to listen. Instead, she stopped talking to Lauren and has basically cut her out of her life completely.
Now, almost a year later, Lauren has accused Heidi and Spencer of releasing a sex tape of Lauren and her former badboy boyfriend, Jason Wahler. Heidi and Spencer deny any involvement in the surfacing of the sex tape.
Regardless of the he-says/she-says rumors that have been flying around, whose side are you on?
Lauren can sometimes be whiny and insecure while Heidi is shallow and inconsiderate of other people's feelings. I guess it's about picking the bad from the worse.
Personally, I'm on Lauren's side. I would rather have a whiny and insecure friend than a so-called friend who would ditch me in a minute if it meant getting attention from a guy. Ya, this one's a no-brainer, Lauren definitely wins this battle.
