Is Britney Spears so self-involved that OK! magazine has considered pulling her photos and interview from their upcoming issue? Apparently so.
According to numerous sources, the 25-year-old pop tart was a complete train wreck during her much anticipated interview with OK! magazine.
The mother of two was not only unfocused when it came to her photo shoot (her eyes apparently rolled back into her head on numerous occasions, producing photos that were clearly unusable) but she was acting like a primadonna as well.
According to TMZ.com, Brit’s photos were so bad that OK! is considering not using them because they could potentially ruin the former pop princess’s career (as though she hasn’t ruined it already).
The website also reports that Brit had ordered fried chicken and decided to wipe her fingers all over the thousand-dollar Gucci dress she wore for the photo shoot.
In addition, Spears brought her untrained dog to the set (which went to the bathroom all over the floor) and refused to let the hired help do her hair and makeup (as though she and her friends could do a better job).
But it wasn’t just her photos that were a complete disaster. Spears reportedly suffered from frequent mood changes on set. At one point during the interview Brit was so “out of it” that she insisted the ceiling was about to cave in on her.
To top it all off, the “Toxic” singer reportedly has no publicist to back her up. Even Britney’s cousin Alli (who formerly worked as her personal assistant) is fed up with her antics and refuses to work with the pop diva.
Sounds like Britney’s in quite the predicament. Should be interesting to see if she can pull things together before her supposed “comeback performance” at the MTV video awards in September.
