Is Jamie Lynne Spears following in the footsteps of her role model sister Britney?

According to the National Enquirer, the 16-year-old younger sister of former pop icon, Britney Spears, is reportedly pregnant.

Britney stunned the media when she announced she was pregnant for the first time at the tender age of 23 (pretty young for Hollywood). Could Jamie beat Brit by a whopping six years?

The new issue of the tabloid features a photo of Jamie Lynne, with the headline “Britney’s 16-Year-Old Sister’s Pregnancy Bombshell.”

But is the star of Nickelodeon’s “Zoey 101” truly expecting a child with her 19-year-old boyfriend? Not likely.

Considering the National Enquirer is the only source confirming the pregnancy rumors, it doesn’t seem likely that they’re true.

I’m not saying it’s out of the question – nothing is out of the question when it comes to the Spears family – I’m just saying I don’t believe it yet.

Until a statement is released by Jamie or her mom, I refuse to believe the rumors are true.
