Regardless of Rosie’s departure, “The View” is determined to skyrocket ratings this year.

After months and months of rumored hosts, “The View” has reportedly offered the two positions to Sherri Shepherd and Whoopi Goldberg.

MSNBC reports that the two comedic hosts have received their offers, although whether or not they accept them is still in the air.

Whoopi and Sherri have spent a great deal of time guest-hosting over the past few months. Other contenders included Kathy Griffith and Molly Shannon, who didn’t seem to win over producers of the show.

While many sources have claimed that the news is official, ABC has yet to confirm the rumors. They recently released a statement claiming “we have nothing to announce right now,” perhaps because the offers have not been formally accepted.

Viewers of the show won’t be too shocked at the final decision. And there’s no doubt that both parties will ultimately accept the deal.

ABC is expected to confirm the rumors next week.
