Paris Hilton Loses the Hilton Inheritance!

Who would Paris Hilton be without the Hilton fortune behind her? Would her name have the same cachet and would she be as powerful? Looks like we’ll find out soon enough.

According to several sources, the 25-year-old socialite will no longer be inheriting the Hilton fortune from her grandfather, Conrad "Barron" Hilton.

The 79-year-old billionaire is reportedly not impressed with his jailbird granddaughter and how she’s butchered the Hilton name.

“He (Conrad) was, and is, extremely embarrassed by how the Hilton name has been sullied by Paris," says Jerry Oppenheimer, author of “House of Hilton.” “He doesn't want to leave unearned wealth to his family.” Instead, the chunk of cash will go to charity.

The exact amount of money that Paris will lose out on remains uncertain. While sites like NineMSN.com are reporting $59 million, others are reporting as high as $60 million to as low as $29 million, as well.

Looks like Paris will be working hard for her money. But will she be able to support her upscale lifestyle? A poorly recorded album and a few seasons of “The Simple Life” simply won’t cut it anymore. Wonder how she’ll get herself out of this one?

Has one bad apple spoiled it for the rest of the Hilton gang? I can't wait to hear what Nicky has to say about this!

uh, she'll still get her parents' share eventually, cnn was gracious enough to pay her millions for her first post-incarceration interview, some beer company gave her a million to host an NYE party this year, not mentioning all the other deals.  I think she'll be fine.

Personally, I know what it's like to make the mistake of getting arrested while driving drunk. However, the first time should be the last time. I believe this is a great move by her family. You know how it is with rich people: you gotta get 'em where it hurts before they give a damn about what you're saying. This will probably clean up her act faster than any amount of jail time ever would.

I guess one day Paris will run out of money and she will have to look for work!!  Even make worse she might ending up drugs or commit suicide if nobody want to employ her or nobody cares.  She will turn from rich to poor kid!
