It was supposed to be the best day of their lives, but instead Usher and Tameka’s wedding day turned out to be a disaster.

The world-renowned musician was ready to tie the knot with his pregnant girlfriend, Tameka Foster, but a series of supposed disagreements between the couple (and disapproval from family members) resulted in no wedding at all.

The wedding was scheduled to take place in LA (at the home of a friend of Usher’s) on Saturday. But according to PEOPLE, just hours before the two were set to say their vows, the ceremony was called off.

While many reports as to why the couple decided not to marry have begun circulating, nothing has yet been confirmed by Usher or his former fiancé.

According to Usher’s rep, Patti Webster, “No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected.”

Perhaps Usher had some unexpected “Confessions” to reveal before the big day.
