Is Jessica Simpson’s ego steering her career down the same road Britney Spears drove hers? Sources say the beautiful but ditzy blonde’s demanding behavior is pointing towards a crash-and-burn on the set of her new movie, “Major Movie Star.”

“Jessica is acting like a spoiled brat,” said a source from the National Enquirer. “She throws tantrums and gripes about the heat. After a week of having to tolerate her, we're all ready for her to pack her bags and hit the road.”

Even though diva-like tendencies are common with Hollywood’s A-listers, Jessica Simpson has a few miles to go before she catches up with the respect of co-star Vivica A. Fox – who, by the way, is the model of professionalism.

Sounds like Jessie’s taking the Method Acting approach a little too far. Wonder if Britney’s been giving her career tips?

Maybe we’re not being fair – Jess’s stuck up attitude in the “Newlyweds” attracted more than a few fans. Wait, maybe it was those short shorts she wore in Dukes of Hazard.
