Kate Hudson is using the cozy setting of Canada’s Muskoka cottage country to warm up to her new beau, Dax Shepard.

The camera-shy couple was seen getting close, kissing and hugging each other, while trying their best to avoid the paparazzi.

And while you’d think that the paps would be a little less aggressive in Canada, that’s simply not the case.

The two were snapped many times over the long weekend and have now graced the cover of every tabloid in the Greater Toronto Area.

Kate and Dax are currently filming a straight-to-DVD movie together. But on-and-off-set love seems to be the story of Kate’s life lately.

In fact, it’s the second time in the last two years that the 28-year-old actress has found love on set.

Kate and Owen Wilson also had on-and-off-screen chemistry while filming the hit movie “You, me and Dupree”. Unfortunately, the spark fizzled quickly and Kate and Owen called it quits after a brief few months of dating.

Now Kate is onto her next boy-toy. It appears Dax is the new flavor of the month.

First Chris Robinson, then Owen and now Dax? Who could Kate possibly choose next?

Nothing would surprise us anymore.

Let’s just say Vince Vaughn would be a step up at this point.
