Emma Bunton won’t be passing along her spicy secrets to a dainty daughter just yet, but she’s sure to have words of wisdom for her new son.

The super-hot Spice Girl and her long-time boyfriend, Jade Jones, welcomed a new baby boy to the world this morning.

The baby was born at 11:12 am and weighed a healthy seven pounds 15 ounces.

Emma and Jade, unlike many Hollywood celebrities, chose a beautiful name for their new son - literally.

The couple named their son Beau, which in French means “beautiful.”

While Emma was resting comfortably inside the hospital following the birth, her boyfriend had a few words to for reporters waiting outside.

“He is absolutely brilliant, and both baby and Emma are doing fine. In fact, Emma is tucking into some flapjacks and Coca-Cola as we speak,” says the proud daddy.

“We are both absolutely delighted and can't wait to take Beau home.”

Beau is the first baby for both Emma and Jade, who have been together for eight years.

Hopefully Emma will enjoy Spice parenthood as much as Victoria, Mel.B and Geri have.
