First it was lip injections, then hair extensions and now Jessica wants to adopt kids. Seems like Angelina Jolie may have a mini-me on her hands!

It’s no secret that Jessica Simpson worships the ground Angie walks on, imitating every aspect of her life. Jess, the same girl who recently admitted to being too selfish to raise a family, told Self magazine she wants to adopt – just like her idol, Angelina.

“I think Angelina Jolie has done amazing things,” says the “Dukes of Hazzard” star. “The first time I went to the orphanage [Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Mexico] I was 16. I remember holding this baby who was found in a dumpster. I wanted to adopt him right then and there.”

And the real zinger of interview: “I want to adopt before I actually have my own kids.” We’re not sure what that means. Maybe it’s her obsessive desire to keep her body toned and tight. Then again, maybe that’s why Jennifer Aniston hasn’t done the baby dance yet.

When it comes down to it, Jessica deserves a little more credit than we’re giving her here. I mean, if she’s going to emulate a celebrity, Angelina’s a safer bet than many – but not by much.

Imagine if she had chosen Courtney Love or Pam Anderson instead.
