The war between Lauren and Heidi got vocal last night, with a confrontation that was as fierce as any battle can get - without throwing punches, that is.

The real-life drama between LC (Lauren Conrad), Audrina, Heidi and Spencer from the hit MTV show, “The Hills”, was extremely evident in last night’s season premiere.

The first episode of the third season sparked fireworks when former BFFs, Lauren and Heidi collided at their favorite nightclub, Les Deux.

Lauren, who has remained fairly quiet about the whole feud, was anything but silent in last night’s episode. The aspiring fashion designer confronted Heidi about a highly publicized sex tape between her (Lauren) and her ex-boyfriend, Jason Wahler.

LC is convinced that Spencer and Heidi are the backstabbers who leaked news of a supposed video.

Meanwhile, the only drama-free lady on the show, Whitney, may have drama in her future as well. The smart and sophisticated blonde has been hired by Teen Vogue and now holds the position of Lauren’s boss.

The second season showed Lauren less than impressed at the possibility of working beneath her good friend. It should be interesting to see how Lauren handles Whitney as her boss.

But all of the drama in the first three-quarters of the episode couldn’t even compare to how the show ended.

Last night’s cliffhanger showed Spencer proposing to Heidi while on vacation – and let’s just say, she didn’t hesitate to accept.

What will LC think of Heidi’s engagement?

As if the news of the sex tape didn’t infuriate Lauren enough, news of a wedding definitely will.

Will the girls battle it out again? Guess we’ll find out next week.
