Photos of Lindsay Lohan recreating a famous Marilyn Monroe nude photo shoot have hit the cover of New York magazine…yawn.

Li-Lo’s latest forage into photographic blasphemy has garnered little reaction from the general public (aside from covering their eyes), and those who have decided to give a damn mostly feel the shoot was more of a publicity stunt and a way to put a few bucks in the Lohan pocket than it was a legitimate tribute to an iconic woman.

But never fear, Lindsay is not completely without a fan base - Mom and sis Lohan are on board with the nudey pics and support Lindsay dropping trou for what Dina Lohan calls a "tastefully done" recreation of Marilyn's last photo shoot.

Okay, we could probably let it slide that Lindsay’s got a bit of a Marilyn fetish, and that posing like her would be a great honor – but recreating the last photo shot of Marilyn’s life…isn’t that a bit creepy?

If that’s not enough to make your skin crawl (along with the pics themselves), here’s something that will really give you a cold chill. Not only was Dina Lohan behind her daughter's photo shoot, she was so in favor of it that she sent Lindsay’s 14-year-old sister Ali to witness the magic.

Because there’s nothing like seeing your sister naked while probably taking a cold, hard look at your future, to really keep you on the straight and narrow, just like big sis.

Although it’s really getting hard to care about you Lindsay, we have to wonder: Between mug shots, nude shots and way too many shots of you in black tights and big sunglasses, what’s next? Maybe you’d better start practicing your Mona Lisa smile, we’re sure you’d look lovely in a Da Vinci recreation.
