Like the majority of men with a pulse, Hugh Hefner has been lusting after the Olsen twins since their 18th birthday – but the difference between him and the likes of celebs Jared Leto and Stavros Niarchos is that, this time, the girls are saying “No”.

After his initial offer was rejected just after the girls came of age, 81-year-old Hugh is again knocking on the Olsen twins’ door in the hopes that the two will pose nude in the June issue of Playboy Magazine. We wonder, now that the girls have reached the ripe age of 22, will their answer be any different?

It’s looking doubtful, given that recently Mary-Kate and Ashley have been seen in nothing less than high-end couture, and each twin seems more interested in fashion magazines like Vogue than in Hugh’s nudey mag.

So what’s a poor, aging playboy to do? Well fortunately, Hugh’s got a backup plan, and it’s none other than Lindsay Lohan. After seeing Lindsay's Marilyn Monroe photo shoot, Hugh is reportedly also pursuing the actress to continue her Marilyn impersonation by recreating Monroe’s nude swimming scene from the film Something’s Got To Give – very smart Hugh; at least you keep your bases covered, if not your models!
