We’ve barely settled down from the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wedding rumor, but we’re already on to the next one. People magazine has reported that singer / actress Beyoncé Knowles and rapper Jay-Z have obtained a marriage license in Scarsdale, New York. The license is good for 60 days, so we could be seeing a wedding before summer – start the countdown!

The couple, who have been together for a whopping six years, have always shied away from press coverage of their relationship, but that hasn’t stopped marriage rumors from surfacing in the past. The last came in December 2006, with reports claiming a lavish Carribbean wedding was in the works, but reps for the couple were quick to dispel the story. Even now, the official word is still “No comment.”

Beyoncé did share her own perspective on a forthcoming wedding with InStyle magazine the same year: “You can’t rush a man into anything – whether it’s a relationship, marriage or having children,” the 26-year-old star explained. “When he’s ready, he’ll let you know.”

Jay-Z, 38, only hinted on the subject, saying simply “One day soon – let’s leave it at that.”

Well Jay, we’re hoping soon is now! While we may have reported that we couldn’t care less about Brangelina potentially tying the knot, we have to admit we’re excited at the thought of Hove and B walking down the aisle. They’re one of those Hollywood couples you’ve got to love, and they've handled their relationship with a lot of class, not to mention some kick-ass duets.

We can’t wait to see the ’03 Bonnie and Clyde make it official!
