Last night’s finale of The Bachelor left one woman heartbroken and another woman bursting with emotion after she was chosen to spend the rest of her life with bachelor hottie Matt Grant.
Shayne Lamas, daughter of well-known actor Lorenzo Lamas, beat out 24 other women vying for Matt’s heart.
Last night’s finale showed Shayne and Chelsea (the other finalist) meeting Matt’s family and spending their last evening with the British babe. Unfortunately for Chelsea, it was her final evening with the man she thought to be her future husband.
Even more shocking than Matt’s final pick (Shayne was somewhat of an underdog right from the get-go) was the fact that he actually got down on one knee and proposed.
“Monkey will you marry me,” he asked the bubbly blonde, as she replied with a screaming yes – under one condition. Shayne insisted she would marry her new love but only if he agreed to never look at another woman again. High expectations before they’ve even said their “I do’s.”
And as another season of the hit show comes to an end, millions of viewers are left with one burning question: Will this relationship last?
